Travel Team is about Danny Walker who is 12 and loves basketball. he practices every single day in his driveway. He went to his 7inth grade tryouts and didn't make it just because he was short.

Book review on travel team by Mike Lupica Review by Lexi PesthyThis book is about a twelve year old named Danny Walker who is too small to play on the travel team this year so he makes a team of misfits and works to go all the way to the championship. This book was good if you like basketball, and stories about confidence and never giving up just because of how you are on the outside. It was well written and really showed how just a few people can make a big difference. It wasn’t very descriptive and sometimes you forget what happened a few pages before. But if you play any sport, or love kids books like this then you should read this book.
